I create photographs that make you stand out in a crowded, competitive world.
Social media posts, portraits, location and event photographs - before someone calls you on the phone or walks into your store they judge everything about you based on a photo.
You only get one chance at a good first impression. I create images that show the world you’re someone they should trust, someone they should buy from, a place they should visit.
I shine a spotlight on what makes you special.
There are over 15 years of skill and experience in every decision I make behind the camera.
I work hand in hand with each client to discover all your unique needs and create a custom-tailored project that tells your authentic story.
I can work exactly according to a client script or take charge of the project myself while ensuring the whole process is a zero-stress experience for you.
I pride myself on being reliable, professional and extremely passionate about each and every client I work with from small businesses to corporate work.
My lifelong love Affair with photography
I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was old enough to pick one up and look through the viewfinder. From an early age I was spellbound by the power of photographs to preserve a moment in time forever, this continued during my college days, when I studied Journalism.
Since 2004 I worked as a buyer in a medical corporation, but lived for the weekends when I could indulge my love for photography.
In 2011 at the height of the financial crisis, I decided that life was far too short to not follow my dream. I quit my corporate job and Sound of Photography was born.
Since then my work has been exhibited around Europe in places like the the Getty Images Gallery, Photoszene Festival Köln or Brighton Photo Biennial.
I’ve worked with clients like UCC, the Opera House Cork, DC Shoes and many other businesses, organisations and venues around Ireland.
Nice things people say about me:
“I have worked with Marcin on a number of projects. Marcin’s work as a photographer is exceptional. He has a wonderful eye for capturing light, dynamics and character. He is quick to deliver work and our interactions are always straightforward. In short, it’s always a pleasure to work with Marcin.”
Julie Kelleher Artistic Director THE EVERYMAN
"What glorious photographs! They give a wonderful sense of the workshop and I love the range of your image-making. Thank you."
Jools Gilson, Head of School of Film, Music & Theatre, UCC
“Marcin Lewandowski has worked for us in a professional capacity as both a superb photographer and as an artist. Marcin in fact was central to the reinvention of the Triskel Website, and worked with us for over a year on this and other projects, and we valued his contribution highly. “
Tony Sheehan, Artistic Director, Triskel Christchurch.
